About the role#
The Spring 2027 Engineering Intern position at Packaging Corporation of America is a full-time, paid opportunity based in DeRidder, Louisiana. You will work alongside Project, Process, and Reliability Engineers to support site operations and engineering initiatives.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with engineers on a variety of site projects.
- Take on special assignments to build your technical skills and communication abilities.
- Create and update P&ID drawings using computer software.
- Organize and maintain equipment files.
- Demonstrate professionalism, take ownership of your tasks, and work effectively with operators and supervisors.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering degree program.
- Completion of your freshman year of college.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
- Strong written, verbal, and analytical skills.
