About the role#
This internship is for students who want a career in sports ticket sales. You will work with the Indiana Pacers ticket sales department to gain hands-on experience and support our sales managers and group event specialists. This is a paid position that requires flexibility, as you will work games and events during evenings and weekends.
What you'll do#
- Research qualified leads, including local businesses, organizations, and teams.
- Handle data entry using Microsoft Excel and Archtics.
- Create invoices, receipts, flyers, and order forms.
- Mail out large ticket blocks.
- Plan and execute ticket sales events.
- Shadow ticket sales representatives on the phones and during off-site appointments.
- Complete other duties and projects as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a junior, senior, or graduate student in a college program.
- Academic focus in Business Administration or Marketing.
- A strong desire to pursue a career in ticket sales after graduation.
- A competitive edge and a coachable nature.
- Strong attention to detail and a professional demeanor.
- Ability to take initiative and maintain a positive attitude.
- An insatiable work ethic.

- Location: Indianapolis, Indiana.
- Term: Winter 2027 (January through May).
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Flexible, with opportunities for 20-25 or 40 hours per week.
