About the role#
We are looking for an Industrial Design Intern to join our team for the Fall 2026 term. You will work alongside industrial designers, engineers, and strategists to contribute to client projects and internal initiatives. This is a full-time, paid internship that offers hands-on experience across the product development lifecycle.
What you'll do#
- Support the design process from initial research and ideation through concept development and implementation.
- Communicate design ideas using sketching, CAD modeling, rendering, and prototyping.
- Collaborate across disciplines to solve complex challenges.
- Contribute to client work and support internal innovation initiatives.
- Demonstrate creative problem-solving and systems thinking in your daily tasks.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in or recent completion of a degree in Industrial Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
- Proficiency in 2D design, including sketching, visualization, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Experience with 3D modeling and rendering, with a preference for SolidWorks and KeyShot.
- A portfolio that showcases your design process, visual storytelling, and aesthetic judgment.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based in Boston, Massachusetts.
- The position follows a hybrid work model, requiring a minimum of 2 days per week in the office or on a client site.
