About the role#
The Human Resources Intern supports our team by managing essential administrative tasks and recruitment processes. You will work alongside the HR Team Lead and the Director of Human Resources to help us maintain our operations. This is a remote role that relies on tools like Zoom and Slack for daily communication. We look for someone who can commit to at least 10 hours per week for a period of 6 months. You will also need to attend one 30 to 40 minute meeting each week.
What you'll do#
- Screen and evaluate applicants to find good candidates for our roles.
- Coordinate and schedule interviews.
- Handle the onboarding and offboarding process for incoming interns and volunteers.
- Keep internal paperwork and documentation organized.
- Assist with additional HR projects based on your specific interests.
What you'll need#
- You are a current student pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience with HR functions such as interviewing, creating training plans, or compiling employee data.
- Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
- Authorization to intern in the U.S.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace is preferred.
