About the role#
This internship provides an inside look at how government contracting works. You will join the contract administration group, which acts as the primary liaison between our company and government customers including the Army and Marine Corps. You will support the team in awarding, modifying, and administering contracts throughout the summer.
What you'll do#
- Assist contract administrators with assigned government contracts.
- Serve as a liaison between customers and the company regarding pricing, scheduling, and forecasting.
- Review contracts for accuracy and follow up on error resolution.
- Prepare and coordinate reports, correspondence, and quotation requests.
- Research and share contract information with internal personnel.
- Interpret contract language and government acquisition regulations.
- Maintain Customer Sales Orders in JDE.
- Develop and manage various information databases.
What you'll need#
- Junior standing or higher, working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Law, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite and completion of a Quantitative Business Analysis class or equivalent experience.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently, learn quickly, and manage your own workload.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to function well within a small team.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- The role is based on-site in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.
- Candidates must be willing to travel or relocate to Oshkosh for the duration of the internship.
