    About the role#

    OSCO Concrete offers summer work terms for students looking to gain practical experience in the construction and manufacturing industry. These roles provide exposure to ready-mix concrete, concrete products, and aggregate operations. Students will work alongside experienced professionals in technical, operational, and business capacities.

    What you'll do#

    Responsibilities vary based on the specific stream of the internship:

    • Engineering and Technology: Collaborate with technical, quality, and operations teams on production support, process improvement, quality control, and project coordination.
    • Heavy Duty Truck Technician: Gain hands-on experience with fleet and mobile equipment operations, including preventative maintenance, repairs, troubleshooting, and safety documentation.
    • Business and Administration: Support internal operations through tasks such as reporting, data entry, cost tracking, financial analysis, recruitment, onboarding, and organizational coordination.

    What you'll need#

    • Enrollment in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology programs.
    • Enrollment in Heavy Duty Truck Technician programs.
    • Enrollment in business-related programs, specifically Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or Operations and Administration.
