About the role#
ORIX Growth Capital provides venture debt to high growth businesses in the technology and healthcare sectors. As an Investment Analyst Intern, you will participate in the full investment process, from initial due diligence to ongoing portfolio management. You will work in a small, entrepreneurial environment while utilizing the resources of a global organization.
What you'll do#
- Evaluate potential investment opportunities within targeted industries.
- Synthesize findings, develop investment theses, and present your recommendations to the team.
- Build financial models to identify key variables and risks.
- Draft investment memoranda for internal and external use.
- Prepare term sheets, credit applications, and approval documentation.
- Assist with portfolio management and required reporting.
- Support team members on various assignments and business development efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program at an accredited top tier university, with an expected graduation in 2028.
- A minimum 3.5 GPA and relevant coursework in finance or economics.
- Demonstrated interest in tech investing.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments at once and work independently with minimal oversight.
- Sound business judgment and attention to detail.
