Fall 2026 Internship - Engineering

About the role#

As an engineering intern at Orbital Operations, you will contribute to real, open-ended challenges that directly impact our mission. You will be paired with a mentor and work alongside cross-disciplinary teams to advance cryogenic propulsion systems and accelerate orbital logistics. This is a full-time, on-site role where you will apply your technical knowledge to high-impact projects.

What you'll do#

• Solve complex, open-ended engineering problems.
• Contribute to the development of cryogenic propulsion systems.
• Work on projects that accelerate orbital logistics.
• Collaborate with engineers across multiple disciplines.
• Take ownership of technical tasks and contribute to team goals.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, or Computer Engineering, or Computer Science.
• Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience gained through previous internships, personal projects, or academic teams.
• Proven ability to manage a complex technical project from conception to execution.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Duration: Minimum of 10-12 consecutive weeks.
• Compensation: This is a paid internship.
