About the role#
OneFourTwo Design Group is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, Georgia. You will work alongside our team to support structural projects from the preliminary design phase through to construction.
What you'll do#
- Communicate with technical drafting staff, clients, and project team members.
- Prepare preliminary designs for client review.
- Review building codes to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Attend client meetings and coordinate with architects, construction project managers, and civil and mechanical engineers.
- Produce construction-ready design drawings using Revit.
- Coordinate across disciplines to ensure accurate project alignment.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program, either undergraduate or graduate.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Previous construction or engineering internship experience is a plus.
