About the role#
OneFourTwo Design Group is hiring a Structural Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in White Plains, New York. You will work directly with our engineering team to support various stages of the construction and design process.
What you'll do#
- Prepare preliminary designs for clients.
- Produce structural calculations for construction documents.
- Review building codes to ensure designs meet all requirements.
- Coordinate with technical drafting staff, project managers, and other engineers.
- Attend client meetings to discuss project progress and requirements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Civil Engineering degree program.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0.
- Strong verbal communication skills.
- A dedicated work ethic.
- Previous internship or co-op experience in construction or engineering is a plus.
