About the role#
Oncor Electric Delivery offers internship positions for students pursuing a career in supply chain management. This program provides hands-on experience across various supply chain functions, including sourcing, technology, inventory, equipment management, and facilities. Interns work on strategic planning, system support, and process improvement projects.
What you'll do#
- Engage with internal and external partners to build supply chain strategic plans and business intelligence.
- Assist in creating supplier evaluation and scoring methods for selection processes.
- Develop and publish reports to support budgeting, forecasting, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor supply chain activity to ensure performance measures are met.
- Oversee technical support for supply chain applications and systems.
- Manage material requirements and communicate needs to relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain business relationships with departments, suppliers, and clients.
- Test new technology applications to ensure functionality and safety.
- Provide technical assistance and root cause analysis for the organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program or higher in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 60 course credits toward your degree.
- A High School diploma, GED, or equivalent.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
