About the role#

This internship is part of the Department of Defense (DoD) SkillBridge program, designed to provide veterans of the U.S. Armed Forces with real-world training and electric utility industry knowledge. You will work within a culture focused on safety excellence, operational discipline, and high performance, gaining experience that prepares you for a future of growth with Oncor Electric Delivery.

What you'll do#

Perform maintenance and construction activities for the state’s largest electric utility.
Gain hands-on experience working on assets including high voltage transformers, circuit breakers, and transmission lines.
Participate in functional areas across the organization to build technical expertise.

What you'll need#

Current or former status in the U.S. Armed Forces.
An interest in pursuing a career within the electric utility industry.
A commitment to working in a team-based environment focused on operational safety.
