Recruitment Intern

About the role#

The Recruitment Intern will partner with the Shared Services Recruiting team to support talent acquisition and onboarding efforts across Omni Hotels & Resorts. This role offers hands-on experience in the recruitment lifecycle and provides support for the transition to the Dayforce system.

What you'll do#

• Review resumes and assist with initial candidate pre-screening.
• Support recruiting efforts across multiple hotel locations.
• Maintain communication with candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring process.
• Track and update candidate information in Dayforce.
• Assist with preparing offer letters and initiating new hire paperwork, including I-9s.
• Support onboarding activities to ensure a welcoming experience for new hires.
• Partner with HR teams to follow up on onboarding tasks and ensure completion.
• Maintain accurate candidate tracking and manage applicant dispositions.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing HR and recruiting projects.

What you'll need#

• Pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or Communications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Interest in working with HR systems or recruiting tools.
• Ability to stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented approach with a willingness to learn.
• Professionalism and the ability to handle sensitive information with care.
• Previous experience in an administrative, customer service, or HR-related role is a plus.
