About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Engineering Intern position at the Omni Mount Washington Resort. You will help maintain the property and support the engineering team in keeping the hotel environment safe and efficient.
What you'll do#
- Maintain mechanical items in guest rooms and public areas.
- Support engineers and mechanics with ongoing repairs.
- Respond to house calls directed via radio or phone.
- Keep all work areas clean after finishing a task.
- Complete the Daily Work form for each shift.
- Maintain property pools under the direction of a CPO.
- Assist with special projects assigned by your supervisor.
- Learn all aspects of the Engineering department.
- Follow all hotel rules, regulations, and emergency procedures, including fire alarm protocols.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- You must be available to work a flexible schedule, which includes nights, weekends, and holidays.
