About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a summer internship for students interested in the mortgage finance side of the homebuilding industry. You will work with mortgage professionals to assist customers through the financing process for Ryan Homes, NVHomes, and Heartland Homes. This is a paid, full-time, on-site role that provides practical experience in mortgage operations.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify home buyers and negotiate financing options.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the final settlement date.
- Handle mortgage processing, obtain approvals, and assist with mortgage closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn how the company manages homebuilding operations.
- Learn about the regulatory requirements that govern the mortgage industry.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- A current Driver's License.
