About the role#
NVR, Inc. offers a Mortgage Finance Summer Internship for students looking to gain practical experience in the homebuilding and mortgage industries. You will work directly with mortgage professionals to assist customers purchasing Ryan Homes, NVHomes, or Heartland Homes. This is a paid, full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers.
- Negotiate competitive financing options for customers.
- Manage the customer journey from the initial application through the settlement date.
- Process mortgage approvals and conduct mortgage closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to learn how homebuilding operations function.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program, with a preference for students graduating within 12 months.
- Majors in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting are relevant, though all majors are welcome.
- Strong communication skills and a self-motivated approach to work.
- Demonstrated leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.
