About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the mortgage process for homebuilding customers. You will work with mortgage professionals to learn about financing, regulatory requirements, and the homebuilding industry. This is a paid, full-time position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Work with mortgage professionals to pre-qualify prospective home buyers.
- Guide customers through the process from their initial application to the settlement date.
- Process and obtain mortgage approvals.
- Conduct mortgage closings.
- Spend time with sales and production teams to understand how homebuilding projects come together.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college degree program. Students in Business Administration, Finance, or Economics are encouraged to apply.
- Strong communication skills.
- A driven, self-motivated approach with leadership experience.
- A current driver's license.

- This role is located on-site in Dumfries, Virginia.
- Applicants must be legally entitled to work in the United States. NVR does not provide visa sponsorship for this position.
