About the role#
This is a 12-week paid internship focused on the homebuilding industry. You will gain experience across multiple business segments, including construction management, sales, and mortgage banking. This role is full-time and based on-site in Fairfax, Virginia.
What you'll do#
You will spend your time learning the managerial and vocational sides of homebuilding. Your tasks include:
- Shadow and assist an experienced Project Manager in the field.
- Work directly with on-site subcontractors.
- Interact with customers throughout their home building process.
- Work alongside the sales team to understand the new home sales life cycle.
- Learn about land research, building products, and mortgage banking.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a college degree program, preferably with a graduation date within 12 months.
- Preferred majors include Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- Strong communication skills to engage with customers and business partners.
- A driven mindset and leadership skills.
- A current driver’s license.

- Compensation: $22.00 per hour.
