IT Operations Intern

About the role#

Nuovo Artistic Photography is seeking an IT Operations Intern to support our head office, remote employees, and retail studios. This role provides hands-on experience with in-house IT operations and enterprise technologies, including the Ubiquiti ecosystem. This is a full-time, paid internship running from August 31, 2026, to December 18, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Provide Level 1 IT support for hardware, software, and user account issues.
• Shadow the IT Support Technician and manage support tickets independently.
• Create and maintain IT documentation, including support guides, system processes, and software licensing records.
• Manage hardware inventory, prepare retired devices for recycling, and update asset management platforms.
• Assist with the rollout of a new hardware recycling initiative.
• Collaborate with the HR team to improve IT onboarding processes.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Computer Engineering, or Business Administration, with plans to return to school after the internship.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in macOS, Windows, and iOS environments.
• Familiarity with Google Workspace is considered an asset.
• Fluency in English and French is considered a strong asset.
