Collections Intern

About the role#

Nuovo Artistic Photography is seeking a Collections Intern to support the finance team in a cross-border environment covering the US and Canada. This role provides hands-on experience in collections processes, client communication, and financial operations from August 31 to December 18, 2026.

What you'll do#

• Assist with collection-related communications, including monitoring and responding to emails.
• Support outreach to clients regarding outstanding balances and payment arrangements.
• Generate, review, and issue invoices through internal billing systems.
• Maintain accurate and updated customer account information across financial platforms.
• Investigate and resolve failed, declined, or returned payments.
• Update and manage customer payment methods and in-house financing arrangements.
• Provide general administrative and reporting support.

What you'll need#

• Currently pursuing a degree or diploma in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Strong interest in collections and an eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication and organizational skills, with high attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.
• Familiarity with accounting or billing systems is an asset.
• Fluency in English, French, and Spanish is considered a strong asset.
