About the role#
Novelis is hiring a Process Engineering Intern for our Warren, Ohio facility. This is a full-time, on-site internship for the Summer 2027 term. You will join our team for approximately 12 weeks to gain hands-on industry experience while reporting to the Process Leader. This role is paid and includes a combined housing and relocation stipend for eligible interns.
What you'll do#
- Take ownership of a project centered on quality, process improvement, or customer centricity.
- Work alongside Process Engineers to support cross-functional improvement projects.
- Collaborate with groups focused on engineering, maintenance, reliability, and automation.
- Learn about sustainability and quality standards, sharing your findings with operations teams.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year university as a sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Current authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting across the organization.
- A preference for students majoring in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
- An interest in gaining practical industry experience before graduation.
