About the role#
Novelis is hiring an Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) intern for our Guthrie, Kentucky facility. This is a full-time, on-site internship for the summer of 2027. You will work with the local EHS team for approximately 12 weeks to gain hands-on industry experience.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation and administration of plant EHS and security processes.
- Manage an EHS-related project.
- Help with employee engagement, including safety committee meetings and training sessions.
- Organize and maintain EHS documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year university as a sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Interest in gaining hands-on industry experience before graduation.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with various levels of the organization.
- Current authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Preferred majors include Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or related fields.

- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
- Benefits: A combined housing and relocation stipend is available for eligible interns living outside of the local radius.
