About the role#
Novelis is offering a 12-week internship at our Terre Haute facility for the summer of 2027. You will report to the EHS Leader and gain direct experience in environmental, health, and safety operations within a manufacturing setting. This is a full-time, on-site position.
What you'll do#
- Assist with the implementation and administration of plant EHS and security processes.
- Manage a specific EHS-related project.
- Support employee engagement activities, such as training sessions and Safety Committee meetings.
- Organize and maintain EHS documentation.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited 4-year university as a sophomore, junior, senior, or recent graduate.
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer.
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with all levels of the organization.
- A strong interest in becoming an engineering leader in a manufacturing environment.
- Commitment to safe working practices and a willingness to work as part of a team.
- Strong leadership and teamwork skills.
- Preference is given to students majoring in Occupational Safety and Health, Safety Management, or related fields.
