About the role#
The Respiratory Extern Student works as part of a multidisciplinary team at Northside Hospital. You will assist with assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care services. All tasks are performed under the direct supervision of a licensed respiratory care professional.
What you'll do#
- Provide designated clinical and support services.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to manage patient care plans.
- Assist licensed staff with daily respiratory care duties.
What you'll need#
- You must be a current respiratory therapy student.
- Completion of at least one clinical course in an accredited respiratory care program is required.
- A valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support certification.
Location & details#
- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM.
- This position requires work on a rotating weekend basis.
- This is a paid, full-time role with on-site requirements.
