About the role#
Northrop Grumman is hiring Software Engineer Interns for our Space Systems Sector. This is a full-time, paid summer internship based in Morrisville, North Carolina.
What you'll do#
- Perform various duties across electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, or optical areas.
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, and systems.
- Work from engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related equipment and conduct tests, reporting data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in a STEM degree program at an accredited college or university.
- Must be enrolled full-time for the Fall 2027 semester.
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week for at least 10 weeks during summer 2027.
- U.S. citizenship is required to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance.
