About the role#
Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineer Interns for a summer position at our Space Systems Sector. This is a full-time, paid internship designed to provide hands-on experience with complex electronic, mechanical, and optical systems.
What you'll do#
- Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, and maintain equipment, components, and devices.
- Work directly from engineering drawings and follow written or verbal instructions.
- Operate related technical equipment.
- Conduct tests and report data in a prescribed format.
- Perform calibration and alignment checks.
- Make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
- Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student in a STEM field, including Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Engineering disciplines.
- You must be enrolled as a full-time student for the Fall 2027 semester.
- Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during Summer 2027.
- An overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
