About the role#
Join the BAMA Mascot Team to bring school spirit and energy to North Central University. You will act as either a performer or a handler at athletic games and campus events. This role helps build the personality and traditions of the mascot program while representing the university to students, fans, and guests. No previous experience is required, and training is provided.
What you'll do#
- Perform as BAMA or serve as a mascot handler at games and events.
- Bring energy and positive interaction to fans and guests.
- Work with other team members to support safe performances.
- Attend all required training, practices, and meetings.
- Care for the mascot costume and equipment before and after appearances.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an NCU student with a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
- First-year students must have completed at least one semester at NCU with a 3.0 GPA.
- Ability to remain physically active in the costume for 25 to 35 minutes.
- Performer candidates should generally be between 5'8" and 6'0".
- Ability to maintain confidentiality regarding mascot identities and assignments.
Location & details#
- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: Primarily evenings and weekends, with occasional daytime events. Expect approximately 2 to 6 hours per week based on the athletic schedule.
- Compensation: This is a paid position.
