About the role#
The Applied AI Intern works directly with the executive team to identify and build AI capabilities that support their daily work. You will spend time inside an executive's workstream, sitting in on meetings and learning their priorities. The goal is to find where AI can remove friction or extend their reach. You will scope, prototype, and ship tools while iterating based on direct feedback. You report to the Applied AI Manager for technical direction and coaching.
What you'll do#
- Embed with executives to identify and build AI capabilities that remove friction or extend their reach.
- Scope, build, test, and refine solutions in partnership with the Applied AI Manager.
- Build using LLM APIs, prompt engineering, and agent development patterns.
- Provide regular progress updates and share capabilities across the executive team.
- Document build processes, usage instructions, and findings for internal handoff.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in AI, data science, computer science, or a related technical field.
- Hands-on experience building with LLM APIs through coursework, research, or personal projects.
- Experience with enterprise AI platforms such as Salesforce Agentforce, Microsoft 365 Copilot, or Azure Foundry.
- Comfortable with AI-assisted development practices using tools like Claude Code.
- Experience working with non-technical users through client work, internships, research, or coursework.
