About the role#
This internship is a 10-week summer program based in the North America Marketplace Planning team. You will work on real business initiatives that align with the company strategic roadmap. Under the guidance of senior leaders and managers, you will take ownership of a project designed to challenge your critical thinking and contribute to team goals.
What you'll do#
- Support demand, sales, receipt, and inventory planning across a portfolio of partners, sports, or product areas.
- Analyze consumer, marketplace, financial, and inventory data to identify trends, risks, and planning trade-offs.
- Connect top-down financial targets with bottoms-up product and inventory plans across pre-season and in-season timeframes.
- Support recurring planning processes and the reconciliation of operational, assortment, and marketplace plans.
- Build forecasts, scenarios, dashboards, and decision frameworks to improve visibility.
- Synthesize findings into clear recommendations and communicate decision impacts to cross-functional partners.
- Contribute to tools, playbooks, and process improvements that strengthen planning consistency.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an MBA or relevant graduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or Spring 2028.
- Academic or professional background in Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, Finance, Analytics, Business, or Economics.
- 3-5 years of work experience is strongly preferred.
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate insights into action.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and influence partners across multiple levels.
- Comfort working through ambiguity and a process-oriented approach.
- Strong written, verbal, and visual communication skills.
- Experience with forecasting, demand planning, or financial planning is preferred.
- Understanding of retail or supply chain metrics like sales, sell-through, and inventory is preferred.
- Experience with data visualization tools or knowledge of the sports apparel marketplace is a plus.

- This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship located at the Philip H. Knight Campus in Beaverton, Oregon.
