About the role#
As a Supply Chain Engineering Intern, you will join the Distribution Engineering team to connect theoretical data with physical warehouse operations. You will spend significant time on the warehouse floor to understand how supply chain processes work and use those insights to improve productivity. You will work as a full member of the team to meet business goals while gaining hands-on experience in a distribution environment.
What you'll do#
- Participate in warehouse operations weekly to learn about equipment and site processes.
- Use Workstudy to perform time studies on various warehouse tasks.
- Analyze Labor Management System (LMS) data to find productivity gaps and work with operations to implement changes.
- Update AutoCAD drawings for designated sites to reflect current operational setups.
- Complete a continuous improvement project using the DMAIC process and present your findings.
- Use PowerBI for reporting and analysis to support improvement efforts.
- Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures.
- Use generative AI tools to automate routine tasks and create solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are currently a Junior, Senior, or Master's student pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or Operations Management.
- Strong organizational skills and clear written and oral communication.
- Proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Experience with AutoCAD or similar software is preferred.

- This role is based on-site in Rincon, Georgia.
- This is a full-time, paid internship with a rolling term.
