About the role#
This internship focuses on spectrum and co-existence testing within the 900 MHz band. You will work with the QA and Field Test team to perform hands-on integration, test setup, execution, and validation of wireless systems. The role requires physical presence in the office and laboratory, with occasional travel to Palo Alto for field testing.
What you'll do#
- Plan and execute laboratory and field testing of wireless communication systems.
- Configure and operate RF and data-collection equipment, including spectrum analyzers, signal generators, antennas, and oscilloscopes.
- Develop and execute test plans, procedures, test cases, and acceptance criteria.
- Create automation and data-analysis tools using Python to improve testing efficiency.
- Collect and analyze RF and system-performance data to identify trends and performance gaps.
- Identify, reproduce, document, and track defects while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
- Communicate findings through concise technical reports, presentations, and test debriefs.
- Lift, carry, and transport testing equipment weighing up to 25 pounds for setup in various environments.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Telecommunications, or Wireless Engineering.
- Proficiency in Python coding is required.
- Experience using verification test equipment such as spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes.
- Strong attention to detail and systematic analytical skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- A valid state-issued driver’s license.
- Ability to perform field work, including driving test routes and transporting equipment to test sites.

- Location: Santa Clara, California.
- Work Modality: On-site, 40 hours per week.
- Schedule: Physical presence required Tuesday through Thursday.
