About the role#
The Friday Night Touchdown Sports Intern will support the production team in creating sports content for broadcast. This role involves active participation in the production process and on-site event coverage.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the production of sports segments.
- Support on-site event coverage.
- Gather and edit video footage.
- Research and develop story ideas.
- Collaborate with the production team on daily operations.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment or degree in Journalism, Communications, Media Studies, or Business Administration.
- A strong interest in sports journalism.
- Basic knowledge of video editing software.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Strong communication skills.
- A flexible schedule to accommodate evening and event-based work.
