About the role#
Nexans is seeking a Marketing Innovation Intern to support the establishment of a structured Customer Experience Management (CXM) program. This role reports to the Offer Manager and focuses on facilitating the execution of innovation projects. You will help the team capture growth and differentiate offerings by gathering customer-driven insights that inform product and service development.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate the execution of the CXM program by recruiting, screening, and vetting interview participants.
- Coordinate and conduct customer interviews using established research methodologies.
- Identify recurring themes, customer needs, and project opportunities.
- Organize research data using Microsoft Excel and other management tools.
- Compile findings into structured summaries to support the discovery and validation of product insights.
- Track project progress and attend weekly meetings with consultants.
- Assist in the preparation of executive presentations and customer insight reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Marketing, Business, Communications, or related post-secondary program, ideally in the second or third year of study.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills with excellent time management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- An outgoing, approachable, and confident demeanor when engaging with customers and industry professionals.
- A valid driver's license, as this role involves 25% travel within Ontario.
