Project Management Intern

About the role#

The Project Management Intern will join the Modernization and Data Solutions practice area for the Summer 2026 term. This role offers the opportunity to apply academic knowledge in a professional consulting environment by supporting real-world projects and team initiatives. Interns are paired with a mentor to build competencies in project management, quality and risk management, and professional communication.

What you'll do#

• Maintain project plans, trackers, status reports, and project logs.
• Organize team documents and shared folders.
• Contribute to internal process improvements.
• Assist in the creation and maintenance of team templates and standards.
• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, including the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners while utilizing company tools and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited degree program with a concentration in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Administration, management, public administration, or a related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.
• Effective organizational and time management skills.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• A demonstrated interest in consulting or public-sector work.
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: Albany, New York.
• Modality: On-site.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 18 – August 7).
• Schedule: Normal business hours, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (negotiable based on availability).
• Compensation: $22 per hour for undergraduate students; $24 per hour for graduate students.
