Artificial Intelligence Intern

About the role#

The Artificial Intelligence Intern will join the Technology Strategy practice area to support process improvement, automation, research, and team communications. This role provides hands-on experience in business and data analysis, operational initiatives, and artificial intelligence applications within a consulting environment. Interns work under the guidance of an assigned mentor to develop professional competencies in business development, analytical thinking, and project management.

What you'll do#

• Assist with automating processes to improve team efficiency.
• Conduct research and basic analyses to support ongoing projects.
• Support internal and external communications.
• Help manage and organize a shared email account.
• Contribute to workflow improvements and special projects.
• Participate in internal and client-facing meetings, including the preparation of reports and presentations.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners while applying organizational tools and methodologies.

What you'll need#

• Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program with a concentration in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Data analysis skills using tools such as Microsoft Excel or basic reporting software.
• Understanding of basic programming logic or technical problem-solving concepts.
• Exposure to development tools, including low-code or no-code platforms.
• Excellent written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship.

Location & details#

• Location: Albany, New York.
• Term: Summer 2026 (May 18 – August 7).
• Work Modality: On-site.
• Schedule: Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (specific hours negotiable).
• Compensation: $22 per hour for undergraduate students; $24 per hour for graduate students.
