About the role#
The Supply Chain Intern supports the Materials and Supply Chain teams at Navitas Systems, LLC. This role involves assisting with daily operations and continuous improvement initiatives across inventory management, planning, and procurement. Interns will gain exposure to end-to-end supply chain operations, including forecasting, scheduling, and cross-functional collaboration within a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment.
What you'll do#
- Assist with procurement activities and coordinate material purchases based on business needs.
- Support efforts to maintain inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.
- Participate in inventory variance investigations and conduct root cause analysis.
- Assist in process improvement projects using data-driven analytical skills.
- Engage with multiple functional groups to assist with data analysis and inventory set-ups.
- Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
What you'll need#
- Full-time enrollment in a bachelor's degree program for Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or Operations Management.
- US Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Resident status.
- Working knowledge of personal computers and spreadsheet applications.
- A desire to learn, question, and research solutions to problems.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.

- Location: Ann Arbor, MI.
- Term: Fall 2026 (September 2026 through December 2026).
- Work Modality: On-site, minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
