About the role#
This is a 10-week paid internship program for Summer 2027. You will work with leaders and mentors on business assignments. The program includes a formal orientation, networking events, and a cross-departmental group project.
What you'll do#
- Update actuarial models for product development or valuation work.
- Use SQL or Excel macros to manipulate data.
- Use Alteryx and Tableau to investigate business trends and summarize findings.
- Run reports and detect patterns in results.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or Finance.
- Preferably a Junior with an expected graduation date of May 2026.
- A passing score on at least one SOA actuarial exam.
- Strong mathematical and analytical aptitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with database software such as SQL Server or Access.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and coordination skills.
Location & details#
- Locations: Addison, Texas, or Montpelier, Vermont.
- Modality: On-site, four days per week (Monday through Thursday).
- This position does not offer visa sponsorship.
