About the role#
The Graphic Design Intern will support the Creative Services team to produce high-quality print and digital marketing materials. You will work alongside experienced designers to gain hands-on experience with brochures, flyers, presentations, and social media graphics. This role offers exposure to the creative development process from initial concept through final production while learning to maintain and evolve an established national brand.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with designers, marketers, writers, and business partners to develop creative solutions.
- Design and produce print and digital marketing materials.
- Apply brand standards to ensure consistency across all communications.
- Prepare production-ready files for distribution.
- Participate in creative brainstorming sessions.
- Translate project requirements into visual solutions.
- Organize and maintain creative assets, project files, and design libraries.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, digital media, or a related field.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creative thinking, typography, layout, and visual design fundamentals.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop).
- Familiarity with Microsoft PowerPoint, Teams, and Office applications.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Canva, Figma, HTML email design, or project management systems like Adobe Workfront is a plus.
Location & details#
- Locations: Addison, Texas or Montpelier, Vermont.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid (onsite four days per week, with the ability to work from home on Fridays).
- Status: Full-time and paid position.
