About the role#
The Education Intern supports the museum education team with student initiatives. You will gain hands-on experience in a nonprofit cultural institution while working alongside the Student Programs team. This role contributes to projects that bring constitutional education to students across the country. It is a flexible position that allows for remote work or office attendance.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate on the development of teacher and student resources.
- Help plan, develop, and facilitate virtual and in-person Student Programs.
- Support programmatic needs through collaborative projects.
- Research topics related to education, museum experience, history, civics, and government.
- Share research and insights with the Student Programs team to inform future program development.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college student at an accredited institution.
- Interest in education, history, government, and civics.
- Strong research and writing skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint or Google Slides.
- Ability to manage time, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively with a team.
- Willingness to learn and take initiative.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Location: Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, or remote.
- Term: Rolling.
- Compensation: 16 USD per hour.
- Schedule: Part-time, with 1-2 days per week on-site if choosing to work from the office.
