About the role#
The Operations Intern program at MHC Kenworth is a 12-week experience modeled after our full-time Management Trainee program. You will work within the Sales, Parts, or Service departments to learn how our dealership business runs. This role offers a direct pipeline into our full-time Management Trainee program after graduation.
What you'll do#
- Execute business initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in all areas of the dealership.
- Perform assigned job functions under the supervision of a manager or experienced team members.
- Rotate through different positions in your assigned department to build a comprehensive understanding of dealership operations.
- Lead a process improvement project that lasts throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or Marketing.
- You can commit to working 40 hours per week for 10 to 12 weeks during the summer.
- We prefer candidates with demonstrated leadership and sales skills.
- You show a strong commitment to quality work and customer service.
- You are open to receiving and acting on constructive feedback.
