About the role#
The Operations Intern program at MHC Kenworth is a 12-week experience designed to provide a deep dive into our Parts or Service departments. You will rotate through different positions to gain a comprehensive understanding of how we run our business. This internship serves as a pipeline into our full-time Management Trainee Program.
What you'll do#
- Execute business initiatives while gaining hands-on experience in all areas of the dealership.
- Perform assigned job functions under the supervision of a manager or designated team members.
- Develop the skills needed to rotate through your assigned department.
- Conduct a process improvement project that lasts throughout the summer.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a graduate or undergraduate degree at an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Supply Chain Management.
- You can work 40 hours per week for 10-12 weeks during the summer.
- You are committed to providing quality work and excellent customer service.
- You are open to receiving constructive feedback.
- Leadership and sales skills are preferred.
