About the role#
The Women in Tech Program is a 4-month co-op placement for the Fall 2026 term. This role is part of our Global IT team in Toronto. You will work within departments such as IT Solution Delivery, IT Data & Digital, or IT Enterprise Architecture. Participants receive mentorship from women leaders and professional development opportunities. A $1,500 net stipend is provided upon successful completion of the term in addition to regular wages.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate with project teams to support AI initiatives, including Machine Learning and GenAI.
- Assist in developing secure AI-enabled applications.
- Build integrations with LLMs using Python.
- Maintain, test, and enhance internal applications and AI-powered tools.
- Design and analyze reports and dashboards to meet business requirements.
What you'll need#
- You must identify as a woman to be eligible for this program.
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related technology field.
- Good academic standing.
- Basic understanding of networking, specifically OSI layers and application layer protocols.
- Familiarity with computer architecture and low-level machine code concepts.
- Ability to write scripts and programs to automate tasks using high-level languages.

- Term: Fall 2026 (4 months).
- Modality: Hybrid (typically 2-3 days in office per week).
- Compensation: $1,200 to $1,500 per week.
