Crown Career Pathway Indigenous Internship

About the role#

SGI is participating in the Crown Career Pathways Internship program to provide hands-on experience and professional development. This one-year, full-time internship is designed for individuals of Indigenous ancestry who have recently completed their studies. The program aims to foster career growth through meaningful work and mentorship. SGI will work with successful candidates to identify a department that aligns with their specific skills and interests, including areas such as the Auto Fund, Claims, Facilities, Marketing, Finance, Salvage, Human Resources, or IT.

• Utilize leadership skills to contribute to and support the company culture.
• Engage in mentorship opportunities to enhance professional growth.

What you'll need#

• Self-identify as First Nations, Inuit, or Métis.
• Be a current resident of Saskatchewan.
• Have completed an undergraduate or graduate credential (certificate, diploma, or degree) from a Saskatchewan post-secondary institution within the past two years, or be within four months of completion.
• Have completed a field of study relevant to SGI, such as Business Administration, Psychology, Political Science, Human Resources, Health Administration, Logistics, or Computer Science.
• Demonstrate an eagerness to learn from others and seek out mentorship.

Location & details#

• This role is based on-site at various locations across Saskatchewan.
• The position is full-time, Monday to Friday.
• The term of the internship is one year.
• This is a paid position with an annual salary range of $51,000 to $70,000, depending on the specific role.
