About the role#
Zenar Corporation is offering a developmental internship for individuals interested in a career in Human Resources. This role provides hands-on experience within a manufacturing environment under the guidance of the Senior Human Resources Generalist and the Director of Human Resources. The program is designed to build your skills across all major HR functions with the goal of preparing you for a transition into a full-time Human Resources Generalist role.
What you'll do#
- Shadow the Human Resources Generalist to learn daily operations, company policies, and employment laws.
- Assist with maintaining confidential employee records and documentation.
- Participate in HR projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Support electronic onboarding using the B2E system, including preparing paperwork and orientation materials.
- Organize and maintain employee personnel files.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, document management, and meeting coordination.
- Help track employee safety training and maintain safety-related records.
- Support benefits administration, including enrollment tracking and meeting preparation.
What you'll need#
- An Associate's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Human Resources or a related field.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a manufacturing environment.

- This position is based in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship.
