About the role#
This is a paid, full-time Tunnels Engineering Internship for Summer 2027. You will join our team in Chicago to work on engineering projects while developing your technical and consulting skills. This program includes mentorship, professional development, and networking through our Early Career Professionals Network. Please note that we are unable to provide sponsorship for this role.

What you'll need#
- Progress towards a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Structural, Civil, or Geotechnical Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in your field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- Creative thinking skills with a methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Proficient communication and presentation skills to engage with clients and colleagues.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset focused on continuous growth.
- Ability to build and maintain rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
Location & details#
- Location: Chicago, Illinois.
- Work Modality: Hybrid. You must be able to commute to the office, with a minimum of three days per week spent on-site.
- Term: Summer 2027.
