About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Structural Engineering internship for Summer 2027. You will join our team for a three-month development program designed to build your technical skills and introduce you to the consultant mindset. You will work alongside project managers, subject matter experts, and mentors on projects that aim to deliver sustainable outcomes for our communities.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions and refine technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress.
- Participate in project and client meetings.
- Analyze project reports and specifications.
- Explore project and client management processes.
- Use digital tools to drive innovation.

What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- A methodical, pragmatic, and creative approach to problem-solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
- Authorization to work in the US, as sponsorship is not provided.
Location & details#
- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: Hybrid, with a minimum of three days per week in the office.
- Compensation: $18 to $35 per hour, depending on education, experience, and skills.
