About the role#
This summer internship offers a structured three-month development program for students interested in civil engineering and consulting. You will work alongside project managers and subject matter experts to gain foundational experience in the industry. The role is full-time and based in The Woodlands, Texas, operating on a hybrid schedule.
What you'll do#
- Design engineering solutions and refine technical documentation.
- Conduct site inspections and monitor project progress.
- Participate in client and project meetings.
- Analyze technical reports and specifications.
- Explore project and client management practices.
- Use digital tools to drive sustainable project outcomes.
- Connect with peers through the Early Career Professionals Network.
What you'll need#
- Progress toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in the field through previous internships, volunteering, or organization memberships.
- A methodical and pragmatic approach to problem solving.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A resilient, solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to build rapport with internal and external stakeholders.
- A collaborative spirit and commitment to teamwork.
Location & details#
- Location: The Woodlands, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Work Modality: Hybrid (minimum of three days per week in the office).
- Compensation: $18 to $35 per hour.
- Eligibility: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the US. Sponsorship is not available for this position.
