About the role#
As an SoC Digital Engineer Intern, you will work with CMOS technologies to develop the digital portion of mixed signal integrated circuits for high-reliability public safety communications systems. You will join our IC Engineering team in Plantation, Florida, to design and implement circuits and subsystems for system-on-a-chip integration within our radio products.
What you'll do#
- Develop digital components for mixed signal integrated circuits.
- Conceive, design, and implement RF and analog circuits and subsystems.
- Apply design methodologies to support SoC system integration.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a BS or MS degree in Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
- Course and lab experience in digital FPGA or ASIC specification, design, verification, physical implementation, silicon bring-up, and debug.
- Proficiency in RTL coding.
- Experience with DSP hardware or algorithms.
- Knowledge of Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS, SystemVerilog, or Universal Verification Methodology (UVM).
- Familiarity with shell and scripting languages such as SKILL, Perl, Python, TCL, make, csh, or bash.
- Experience or coursework with silicon validation in the lab or Labview is an asset.
- Familiarity with Cadence digital design tools is a plus.

- Location: Plantation, Florida.
- Modality: This is a 100% on-site role, Monday through Friday.
- Employment: Full-time paid internship with a rolling term.
