About the role#
MORSE Corp is hiring Full Stack Software Engineer Co-ops to build software that supports machine learning, mission planning, and automation for the US National Security Ecosystem. You will work on full stack web applications and cloud-hosted infrastructure to solve complex data problems. This is a paid, full-time position.
What you'll do#
- Build custom software packages and full stack tools for DoD customers.
- Write backend code using Python.
- Develop front end interfaces using ReactJS.
- Improve deployments and handle DevSecOps tasks using AWS or Azure.
- Create solutions for analyzing big data sets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews and present your work to customers.
What you'll need#
- US Citizenship is required. You must be able to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Current enrollment in a BS or BA program for Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with Python, JavaScript, and ReactJS.
- Understanding of full stack architectures.
- Proficiency with Git for version control.
- Familiarity with Docker and Spark is helpful but not required.

- Compensation: $28 to $37 per hour.
