About the role#
As an Aerospace Algorithms Engineer Co-op at MORSE Corp, you will work on a variety of applications. You will develop physics, statistical, mathematical, and machine learning models for mission planning and simulation. We look for engineers who can build algorithms that function efficiently and are easy to test in software.
What you'll do#
- Develop and own algorithms throughout their lifecycle, from initial conception to deployment and testing.
- Process and analyze raw data.
- Simulate and validate algorithmic performance using dynamic systems.
- Present your technical work through white papers and test reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate algorithms into software solutions.
What you'll need#
- You are working toward a BS in Aerospace Engineering, Robotics, Physics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python for algorithm and software development.
- A strong background in physics, math, and statistics.
- Experience with developing algorithms and simulations.
- US Citizenship is required, or you must have the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.

- This role is on-site in Cambridge, Massachusetts, Arlington, Virginia, or Seattle, Washington.
- The position is full-time.
- This is a rolling term.
- Compensation is $28 to $33 USD per hour.
